Jacob Stapelton will be serving as our intern this summer! Jacob will be a senior at Freed-Hardeman University this fall and plans to pursue youth ministry upon graduating. We are excited to have Jacob as part of our church family! Please, welcome him to Walter Hill.

June 7-10: VBS will start each night at 6:30. We want to average at least 40 students each night of VBS. If we average 40 Chris and Jacob will spend 24 hours in Waffle House, minus an hour for every waffle we eat. 

Thursday, June 13th: Jam with Jacob at 6:30pm-8:30pm! Come to hang out with Jacob in the teen room, play games and have fun fellowshipping with one another! 

Saturday, June 13th: The Family Scavenger Hunt! This is always super fun! The bus will head to McAlister’s (at The Avenue) at 5pm, you can meet us there at 5:30 if you prefer. After dinner we will break up into teams and have a scavenger hunt all around the avenue. The winning team gets Jermiah’s! We should be done and back to the building by 9:30pm.

Sunday, June 14th: Youth Invasion at Slim Chickens immediately after Bible class.

Monday, June 15th: MYM @ Fairfield! The bus will leave at 6pm. 

June 21-26 Camp JOY! You can sign up for camp here! The deadline to sign up is June 1st! The cost is $120 per camper, but the 2nd camper from the same household goes for $95, and the 3rd camper from the same household goes for $95. The cost for college students is $85.  Adults who are members at Walter Hill go at no charge.
