John Welker has been suffering for some months with back pain. The doctors have attempted several procedures, including an epidural, but none have given him any relief. He was treated in the ER and then admitted to Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital on Thursday, August 13, due to severe back pain. He had surgery on his back on Monday, August 17. His surgery went well and was completed according to plan. The surgeon was positive on the results. John is slowly improving and the pain is being managed well. He hoped to be transferred to Murfreesboro Rehabilitation Hospital (formerly TrustPoint) for rehab on Friday, August 21, or Saturday, August 22. (August 21)
Faye Pistole is under hospice care. She remains at Stones River Manor. (August 12)
Juanita Brewer is at Adams Place, Room 2222, after being in the hospital with a UTI. Prior to her hospitalization, she suffered several falls at home. (July 31)
Bruce Bradford was treated in the ER and admitted to Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital on Tuesday, July 14. He was transferred to Adams Place, Room 1131, on Friday, July 17, for rehab. He is slowly improving. (July 29)
